It can often be hard to tell what is genuine and what might be a scam these days. Scammers have become very creative and are known to target senior Australians over the age of 65.
This FREE event is being held to shed some light on the issue, and educate senior citizens on how to pick them out. Whether that is yourself, or if you know someone who might need it, this is a great opportunity.
They intend to cover information such as safe ways to bank online, how to protect yourself and My Aged Care scams. Booking is essential for this event, so get in quick to secure a spot!
In addition to the information session, there will be morning tea, games, prizes and more.
The event will take place on the 12th of August 2022 from 10:00am to 11:45am at Para Hills Seniors Centre (Para Hills Community Hub): 22 Wilkinson Road, Para Hills.
